Nothing like the good ‘ol switcheroo. Taskbar Shuffle is a simple free (for all you cheapskates) Windows utility that allows you to rearrange the order of your taskbar items by dragging and dropping.
Thats it, ’nuff said. A small application with almost no memory footprint that does exactly what it supposed to do. Shocking!
Windows only (Windows XP/2000/95/98 – yes 95)
Trend Micro prompted and warned of a virus….FYI!
Um, maybe I’m way out here, but hasn’t the taskbar got drag n’ drop functionality already? I just moved my Firefox icon closer to my start button by dragging and dropping, and I sure hasn’t installed any software to do this.
slow news day?
i dont even have a task bar on this POS winblows machine. hence why i never use it anymore except to browse uneasy .
I think it means that you can move open programs in your task bar…but I still don’t see the need for anything like this.
If you see the screenshots on their site, you can see that they are talking about the open programs buttons. Like Scrow, I have no idea why this is usefull?
and I have to agree that windows already has this ability. You can already move programs into and out-of your taskbar, and rearrange them as you please :P
I’ve used this before and it worked well. I think most people here are talking about the drag and drop abilities of the quick launch bar which is shown in the picture. This program allows you to move around open programs shown in the taskbar.
yeah, you can drag & drop things already – good thing they’re not charging!
Um… i think the vast majority of people were confused by the image attached. That’s the quick launch bar your looking at and moving. The task bar is where all open windows exist. Like this browser will say “UNEASY…”. This button, you can move.
Dennis is right, PC-Cillin pops up

it’s a heuristic positive so it’s not a definite virus and it needs to be submitted for verification.
