For those that rely on this type of software for their Windows machines, you can snag yourself a free license of Acronis True Image 7. Free, as in “I’m crashing this party even if I’m not invited, oooh look free beer.

This is the full commercial version of Acronis True Image 7, no strings attached. Find more information on the download / license here. Acronis requires an online registration process in order to acquire your free license (Windows only).

    DOWNLOAD LOCATION 2
    It appears that the site above is getting hammered There is an alternative download location.
    1) After you get your serial you get a password.
    2) With that password you can create an account at Acronis.com.
    3) Go to MY ACCOUNT > REGISTERED PRODUCTS on the Acronis website
    4) Then click on “Acronis True Image 7.0 (English)”
    5) Then click on “Download installation file”

    So to use location 2, how do you get the serial to get the password?
