Wow! Finally, a worthy Expresscard accessory for laptop users who have nothing else to stick in their tiny Expresscard slots. I was beginning to wonder if the tiny little slit on the side of my MacBook Pro was going to be used for anything.

I’m beginning to see real use for the slot in the near future. Belkin just announced its Notebook Expansion Dock ($199) which will ease the tedious task of plugging and unplugging multiple cables (DVI, USB, Firewire, etc) from the sides of your laptop. Imagine the convenience of plugging unplugging 4-6 wires from your machine using nothing more than an Expresscard. Dreamy.

Ugh…Windows XP and Vista support only. I guess the expressCard slot on my Macpro is going to still feel empty and void.

it seems software driven as well with a built in GPU for the second display. Plus it has the DVI port which is run through the express card bus , would be useless on a mac.

It’s proof of things to come for EC users.
