Your own custom skateboard via Boardpusher

Earlier today Dan found a gem of a company offering Space Invader skateboards. Unfortunately, not everyone is into that whole retro arcade gaming scene. Fortunately, there are ways to get custom skateboards using their own favorite designs.

Boardpusher allows individuals to upload their own design – using the provided downloadable template as a guide – for printing on to their own high quality board.

For $50, anyone can upload their own boards and receive the high quality results within one week. Check out my own personal results and decide for yourself if printing a custom board is worth trying.

You can always design your own, and then put it in a display case and have it hanging on the wall, It can be used as a nice piece of art

I Skateboard, and I am an Artist. But sadly I am too lazy and too broke to buy a skateboard with my design. But thanks for the news, ill keep this in mind.

And Derek, that skateboard on your Flickr has an awesome design, it looks like it could be of a deck of a profiesional skateboarder

I have a book with a history of skateboard deck designs by all the big skateboard companies, its called “Boards: The Art and Design of the Skateboard” a book put out by MTV:
