I suspect that the snapping issue is the reason these 1) haven't had much publicity, and 2) are being offered at $19 rather than the MSRP of $119. But hey, for $20, how can you go wrong? And the truth is that the iPod video -is- capable of playing the audio, it just can't be controlled through the on-headphone controls.
