Want Bluetooth headphones for your iPod?

Woot is having a killer deal on a pair of $19 Logitech Bluetooth headphones to mate with your iPod. Play, pause, skip tracks – all from the headphones themselves without the need to pull your iPod out of your pocket or bag. No unsightly wires to obstruct your movement or “style”.

The only improvement which would spark my genuine interest in a pair was if the headphones were bluetooth earphone buds. Unfortunately, the likelihood of something like that coming out would be impractical and too easy to misplace. Actually, now that I think of it, manufacturers would actually benefit from such tiny Bluetooth earphones. Customer(s) purchases tiny earphones, customer(s) loose tiny earphones, and finally customer(s) repurchase earphones.

“NOTE: iPod video is not supported” :(

I was about to order a pair (even hough I’m sure the sound wouldn’t be super awesome, but…)

Anyone know of anything similar that works with ipod video?

I’d be carefull, I had a pair of these, they’re very uncomfortable, and will break after a month or two

As an avid fan of Woot!, I bought these the last time they were offered (at $29 though). Sadly, I haven’t had any luck getting them to work, and the comment board is plagued by reports of them snapping in the back after as little as a week of usage. I suspect that the snapping issue is the reason these 1) haven’t had much publicity, and 2) are being offered at $19 rather than the MSRP of $119. But hey, for $20, how can you go wrong?

And the truth is that the iPod video -is- capable of playing the audio, it just can’t be controlled through the on-headphone controls.

gotta break the little info tab on the ipod side of things/
