A quick and easy way to backup your Palm

For those out there that live in Palm world, this tip is invaluable!
NVBackup is a solid backup program that happens to also be freeware that is designed for new Palms (Treo 650, TE2, T5, Tx, 700 and Lifedrive are the models listed) and claims to use a ‘different system’ for accessing the data.
Sure a hotsync does backup the device but doe sit offer:
- Various compression options
- Daily AUTOMATIC backup option
- Encryption
- Putting the program on the card
- The option to export or import a copy of the backup to or from an FTP server
I can’t begin to tell you how that FTP option saved my ass when I didn’t have my laptop near me. The interface is simple, and fairly easy to figure out.
I would recommend any palm user give it a try.
