greenpeace apple

Not only does Greenpeace lambast Apple for exposing children and China and India to hazardous chemicals, they do so while ripping the very style embraced by Apple.com.

We love Apple. Apple knows more about “clean” design than anybody, right? So why do Macs, iPods, iBooks and the rest of their product range contain hazardous substances that other companies have abandoned? A cutting edge company shouldn’t be cutting lives short by exposing children in China and India to dangerous chemicals. That’s why we Apple fans need to demand a new, cool product: a greener Apple.

What are your thoughts concerning the idea of Apple & environmental awareness? Taking into consideration the small size of the Apple market share, what of companies like Dell?

Every company exploits lesser developed countries, that is how the super powers of the world survive! Compared to bigger companies such as nike – who let their “employees” breathe in rubber all day – Apple is pretty tame.

The lefties are at ti again… i think they have a better track record than most other companies..

PS PETA kills more animals then they save! (it’s true google it)

  3. Addiqt-media says:

The funny thing is- If Apple took the flame retardant substances out of the Macs, they’d pose MORE of a heat/fire risk…

“Back in April 2005, Steve Jobs publicly called environmentalists’ concerns about Apple “bullshit”.” – Got it in one Steve. Good work. :)

  4. Dan says:

Any firm or person that creates environmentally unsafe products, and doen’t clean up after themselves is a killer of one sort or another – that rules in most humans – as for the rest, they aren’t doing anything to stop the killers, so they suck to.

after looking at some of those pictures of mounds of keyboards and computer parts. i did realise one thing. most of those looked like PC parts, not just mac. i might be wrong, but it just i dont see that many mac keyboards in those piles…
