How much do you support Google? Enough to represent the search engine / advertisingg giant via the Google Ambassador program [via]?

The Google Ambassador Program rewards hard-working engineering students by allowing them to take a study break on Google. Google ambassadors identify opportunities to order pizza for their computer science peers, most often around project deadlines or exams. Ambassadors are Google’s main point of contact, and responsible for making the program successful at their university.

Free Google schwag, free pizza, and the envy of other “geeks” who silently wish for the same Google status. Anyone out there seriously considering the idea of being a Google Ambassador?

Yea, won’t be joining that anytime soon!

I actually applied… I couldn’t find the exact link to sign up for it so I just submitted my resume and a cover letter to any advertising/marketing job near chicago. I figured if I get seriously involved in this program it would make a huge impact on my resume. Usually these kind of events get the cheapest pizza around… if I get selected i’m buying beer and pizza with the 500 bucks they give me.
