Retrieve Serial Numbers or CD Keys from your computer

KeyFinder Thing is a simple utility to retrieve the Serial numbers or CD Keys of software installed on your system. It includes options to export the list of found keys and a search option to find keys to programs that are not officially supported by the program.
KeyFinder Thing also is not limited to Microsoft products. It supports 90 software titles out of the gate, mostly for third party software companies.
If you are a little skeptical of this program, we then recommend he time tested Belarc Advisor.

For all the people who didn’t like my original product (Keyfinder Thing 3) because it needed .Net 2.0, Here is Keyfinder Thing Lite!
Its smaller! (100k) Its Faster! but it doesn’t have the features of the full version. Its basic and to the point now and the only dependancy is MSVBM60.dll (The VB6 Runtime that most people have anyway thesedays.)
Currently it doesn’t support quite as much software as the original but the rest WILL be added in due course.
There is no website, no documentation, no FAQ.
This version will be updated regularily with new titles (something I think the other products of this genre lack) and isn’t targeted specifically at MS products (which the other products of this genre seem to be.)
At this point it is only available on this thread so if you see it anywhere else let me know and i’ll go shout at them!

thanks jerry. the smaller version may work better when I am on site with a computer but this is a gret tool and much faster than belarc to get serial numbers of computers that don’t have the COA label printed. good find thanks UE!
