iTunes 7 hasn’t even been out one week and the coders behind myFairTunes6 boast a Windows .NET required method of cracking the DRM protection [via] on files acquired through iTunes 7. The latest 0.5.3b release includes the following additions:

Check the project out if you’re looking for a method to use your purchased music however you see fit. It’s moments like these when I actually feel somewhat jealous of Windows users who use their boxes as their main machines. Almost.

    jealous over some music? give me a break. they can stare at windows all they want to crack some music, but the time isnt work being able to play the songs on some shoddy mp3 player.

    What do you think of the new Zune players ‘proximity sharing’ ability? Once that’s cracked it’ll be right up there with Torrents as a piracy killer app.

    um… ipods stil work with windows. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like macs a lot, but I don’t exactly see where you’re going with this. I mean, i don’t buy my music from ITMS but still, if i DID i’d like to be able to use it how i see fit, minus the DRM. :P
