CrunchGear must have lived off-campus [college]
A very rare moment when readers are redirected to a post in order to continue a rant of some sorts. TechCrunch’s recent foray into a “Gadget-centered” blog known as CrunchGear is off to a wonderful start. John Biggs apparently knows best with the CrunchGear’s Back to School Cheat Sheet. And by knows best, I meant recommending unrealistic and pricey solutions for college students on their way back to the dorms.
Last I checked, tuition alone costs students an eternity of loan payments if miscalculated incorrectly. From the Alienware laptop and 32-inch television, to the 32-inch widescreen HD LCD and 55-inch Plasma. I don’t think Mr. Biggs has been to college lately.
You can find my personal reply here. Excuse me while I load all my fancy gear into the back of the Lambo outside, I’m heading back to my chateau off-campus.

lol
seems the list you made is a lot better then his, maybe you should have done your own back to school list?
Haha…segway. I’m still thinking about those :)
haha I have that Hitachi TV…. but its a 60″ and Sony ;)
I’m a college student and I got my 32 inch HDTV from some warehouse in downtown L.A. where they only show commercials on TV at 3am of the owner destroying tvs with bats and shaking VCRs violently and getting dragged out of the store in a straight jacket because he is Crazy Gideon
lololol
no but seriously, I got a good deal. It pays to watch commercials at 3am.
lol that page has a tv very similar to the one i posted above about, but mine only coust 300 bucks, where that one is 799
