Give color to your Menu Bar

Posted in Tech by Chris at 1:10 pm

Want to add colour to your Mac GUI? How could the most advanced OS in the world have grey icons? Get MenuPics then. It allows to change almost any icon to one of the many choices available. Please let me point out that it hasn’t been updated in a while, and it’s written for PPC. But Rosetta will only work for the setting up. The modifications are quite low level, so once you log in and out, nothing is running to support your icons.

Don’t want to run Rosetta on your Mactel? Get iColon. It’s a simple installer which modifies just your Airport, Battery and Bluetooth icons. Quick and painless.

I’ve tried both on both Intel and PPC, and never had any problems. Lovely!
