Yo G’s, the code to get rid of the myspace banner ad is THIS:

body>div {visibility: hidden;}

Place it anywhere in your “About Me” section.

THIS DOES WORK, so be warned! Your profile will eventually be deleted if you use this code because it is a violation of the MySpace TOS to do so. MySpace monitors profiles by employing moderators who check profiles all over their network, that’s their job.

Does anyone know a code that blanks out the intire page, including the ads, but not a big white block that covers everything?

Derek, I must say thanks for letting me steal your template.
I tried the minimal lime and it was great, but couldnt get it to work. Instead I stole your black/grey theme. Let me know what we think

The overlays do not cover ads. MySpace serves ads on pages randomly. Covering ads would indeed be against the TOS.

I frequently use MySpace. I have used the minimalDark for quite a while now and it currently doesn’t even have much that still links it to the original state.

The banner ad still shows for me.

I use MySpace daily I check it as much as my email and here. I might go on myspace more then my email, now that’s scary. No whats even more scary is using MySpace to send business messages rather then emailing, done that before.

and i made my own design (not an overlay, just css code), but I do not post any “useful” blogs, but I do edit my interests often to keep it up-to-date.

MySpace is like crack stay away.

It looks like this overlay covers up the banner ad which against the MySpace TOS.
