Protect yourself: TrackMeNot
This post was published 3 years 7 months ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.Add this to the “Cool Extensions for Firefox” file. TrackMeNot (created at NYU) is a plug-in that hides you from the big search engines, protecting your search data.
It protects your identity using a really clever method. It doesn’t try to mask you IP address, or make you “invisible” by messing with cookies installed by your search engine of choice. TrackMeNot sends random queries to Yahoo, Google, AOL, etc all the time, therefore hiding your real queries.

This is a really an interesting idea to protect your search data, however I wonder how effective it will be when the search engines manage to figure out the pattern that this plug-in uses. None the less, I think you should try it out.

Yes there is. The link is called “Read More”. It’s blueish and underlined. The link is located between the black and grey texts.
Hope this helps.
