Who outkilled who? God or Satan?

What do you do when you have a bible in hand and a whole lot ‘o time to kill? You tally up the scorecards for biblical deaths and let the numbers speak for themselves.

I counted the number of people that were killed by the God in the Bible. I came up with 2,038,334, which, of course, greatly underestimates God’s total death toll, since it only includes those killings for which specific numbers are given. No attempt was made to include the victims of Noah’s flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc., with which the good book is filled. Still, 2 million is a respectable number even for world class killers.

Does anyone want to do a little fact checking? I have a feeling the figures are a little off.

  1. This is just furhter evidence for my hypothesis that God is the evil one and Satan is the good one. After all, wouldn’t the dirtiest trick that someone who is evil could pull be to convince everyone that the other guy is actually the evil one?

  2. sky says:

or at the very least, just convince one person….

  3. king says:

    thats completely insane
people killed by god deserve it

its more of a punishment, unless u believe that any criminal should be let out with no punishment and fight for the right of criminals

  4. Michael says:

Deserved it? Are you saying that the people of Egypt who lost their first born son deserved it? They just happened to live there. They had no say in whether or not to “let my people go”.
