The folks over at MacFixit have posted a few preliminary screenshots of Apple new 10.5 Leopard preview. I sure somewhere an NDA has been broken, but we’ll post pictures as soon as we get them.

    I don’t find this usefull… it is on Linux but not on Macs… bleh… what i really found great is Time Machine!

    I find it to be amusing how Apple talks about how Microsoft steels and copies everyone elses software and here is Apple copying Microsoft’s System Restore, and Linux’s Virtual Deskstop (with Microsoft also copied as a power toy)

    I don’t think System Restore is designed for if you lose a file, it’s designed for if your Windoze System files get corrupted, which, let’s face it, they do a lot.

    Oh, and I don’t think Microsoft’s implementation is exactly -user-friendly-.

    Apple’s Time Machine certainly should be a better replacement for System restore (which never restores)…
