While a majority of wish list creators make use of Amazon.com, there may be others who wish for something a little more universal. Something that would allow users to compile a wish list based on items found on websites outside of the Amazon catalog.

Wishlistr serves as the unifying link between what you may wish for on the net, and what others may feel inclined to get you. Register your free account, browse the net as you normally would, identify items that you would like to add to your wish list, and add the page to your Wishlistr list using a convenient bookmarklet.

Once you’ve compiled a notable list of items, share the list with friends, family, online contacts, or readers. Each list is transformed to resemble a link blog of sorts complete with a number of template options. Wishlistr even goes so far as to provide a unique RSS feed for lists. You know, just in case your family is comprised of internet geeks ever watchful of whatever you may add to your list. Maybe, just maybe, that unattainable item will land on our doorstep.
