Your transformation to uber geek is not compete until you sport this wallet. Styled after dot matrix printer paper, this tri-fold Dot Matrix wallet will appeal to anyone who lived for those little perforations. This wallet is made from strong Tyvek (the CD case stuff), which is comprised of high-density polyethylene fibers.

Because of its reinforced, folded pattern, which utilize fewer seams than a standard wallet, the Dot Matrix has fewer stress points, making for fewer point at which to fall apart. Should be fun to see what lasts longer: this wallet the memory of dot matrix paper.

This looks way too thick-eyed glasses, pocket protector, nerdish. Something a stickle young geek of an account would whip out of a back pocket. If any home brewed wallets were worthy of carrying, it would be a clean duct tape wallet. Fortunately, I would carry neither. I\’ll stick with my good \’ol leather tri-fold.

I made a duct tape wallet in high school, but once I realized it was passe (in my usual shameless hipster fashion), I covered it with black electrical tape and spray painted yellow splotches on it.

all the duct tape wallets I’ve seen have gummed the shiat out of credit cards that you store in them.

I’ve been trying to find instructions on how to make a tyvek wallet without sewing but haven’t had much luck and I’m much too lazy to figure it out myself.
