ms word office 2004

Here’s an interesting security warning for Office 2004 users [thanks Eric]:

This update fixes vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office 2004 that an attacker can use to overwrite the content’s of your computers memory with malicious code.

Say what? Hi, I’m a Mac, and Microsoft makes me a little less secure. If you have not yet updated to 11.2.5 head on over to Mactopia and download the fix straightaway, or fire up your Office Updater. If you’re unsure about the version currently loaded on your computer, go to the Apple Menu > About This Mac > More Info… > Software > Applications. Look through your currently installed apps and locate your Office suite to verify your current versions are up to date.
