Verizon.. tasty
Verizon + Chocolate = messy technology? wrong again Mr. Obvious! Verizon + Chocolate = MP3 phone, which at first glance appears to beat the crap out of the slvr and the rokr.
I’m not going to lie, I have yet to be enticed by a phone/mp3 player. I mean my phone is a phone, used primarily for business and for short bursts at a time. My MP3 player is for fun and escape, often used for atleast 45 minutes a crack… for me its 2 devices that smashing into one doesn’t make sense. However the consumers have shown a definate interest in the hybrid devices after the slvr and rokr made their appearances onto the scene.
With the above stated, enter stage left Verizon with LG and “Chocolate”.
(at the MP3 phone party)
Cingular – “what are you doing here Verizon, you know we aren’t friends, and this is MY party”
Verizon – “Well frankly, your phones suck and Edge is kinda slow…”
Cingular – “Ahem….. least dropped calls… k thx”
Verizon – “Yea whatever Cingular, meet my new friend LG – Chocolate”
Cingular – “….. yea well I know Apple!”
Verizon – “Dude… people eat more chocolate than Apples”
Okay, so maybe it didn’t go down like that, and maybe I need to lay off the Coca Cola Blak and get some sleep, but with that said. Verizon welcome to the market of MP3 phones, I hope you and LG play a better hand than Cingular and Motorola did. As for me, I’ll just keep using my Treo… it plays music anyway.

When did Verizon go from: “Yesterdays Phones, at Todays Prices” to cutting edge?
that EvDO does it I guess… mean look at sprint….. oh wait… ;)
im with you chad, i dont like the whole one device to do everything, cause most of the time, that one device, sucks at everything.
i would much rather carry around a cell phone for phone calls
my iPod for music
my nintendo DS for games
a camera for pictures
my keys for my car/house/room
my wallet for money
i dont need one thing that holds my money, my songs, my music, my pictures, and acts as a key to my car at the same time.
Also, i dont like chocolate, the candy or the phone
