Top 10 recommended OS X screensavers

Phil Ryu went to work and compiled his own personal recommendation of OS X screensavers. A great Top 10 list as well as a number of honorable mentions in both the post and comments as readers chime in with their own preferences. Personally, I think Flying windows screensaver truly deserves top honors. I have it loaded on my MacBook. Very Front Row-esque if that’s your thing.

I’m somewhat appalled that The Flying Toasters are Back (for free) ! post wasn’t mentioned. Flying toasters is classic! How can that have missed the list?

    I love the fenetres volantes screensaver, the front row-esque background gives it an “integration” look & feel.

    get clocksaver (http://clocksaver.sourceforge.net/) and be done with it.
    fully customizable and you can read the time from miles away, when not sitting at the computer…
