Cingular doesn’t like you, you filthy free loader

We always knew that cellphone companies are evil. As with all cellular companies Cingular has a formula to determine how valuable a user is to the company.
For example if you constantly do not use your minutes or use too many minutes, and subscribe to many premium service and never use them, and hardly call customer service, you are considered Cingulars best customer. Usually, these factors matter only when you threaten to cancel your existing cellular account to move to another carrier. However, a new policy at Cingular states that it will “no longer discount equipment for customers that are not profitable for us, no mater where they stand contractually.”
How do they know this? A Cingular rep determines how profitable a customer is by using a handy handy little box (illustrated above) on the operator’s screen showing the computerized calculation showing your value. These internal documents recently were leaked on the internet, and obviously Cingular is not happy, threatening legal action. If you find the blood sucking policies at Cingular interesting, you can read more.

This is not really surprising, Sprint does something similar to their wireless customers as well.
I wonder when the liberals are going to attack these guys for discrimination
