bluetooth might mouse

Every now and then I questioned myself wondering why I decided to constrain myself with a wired Mighty Mouse despite having an uber portable MacBook. Now that Apple has officially launched its Bluetooth version of the Mighty Mouse, I feel a little more inclined to throw this wired piece towards someone constrained to their desktop. The same great features offered in the original mighty mouse minus the wire. The device is powered by 2 AA batteries.

Apple says it can be powered by “1 AA Battery” as well. So if you only got 1 battery handy, stick it in and keep rockin

    Oh

This is also better than the wired one i was thinking about getting. The i/o ports are all on the left side so the chord would have to go around the screen, slightly losing it’s minimalism, i think.

Can’t wait ’til 10.5 so i could buy my sex-with-a-processor MacBook

Until they make it wirelessly rechargeable or have a docking station, they’re not getting me to give up my mx1000 :P

also, i’m really not sure about that right-click scheme…

Um, I don’t think wirelessly-rechargeable will happen for a while, although I guess if it had solar cells, and you kept a laser pointed at it, or worked outside in the desert…

I just use a regular Apple wireless mouse (which I seem to recall ALSO cost $69…some kind of brilliantly-researched top amount lots of people are willing to pay for a cool mouse). I also got four rechargable batteries and a charger (about $10), which I’d consider a mandatory purchase with a wireless mouse (or a digital camera).

Now, why didn’t they just do that in the first place, instead of releasing the wired one?
