Time for you to hang a little note outside of your cube. System administrator appreciation day is right around the corner on July 28, 2006. On this day, be sure to say thanks to any IT professional who endures a thankless job and only gets attention when things go wrong.

If you are an IT professional, drop a comment detailing your favorite user screw up. If you are a computer user why don’t you talk about your favorite tech support nightmare?

    LOL! I love Nick Burns!

thanks for the post, I had forgotten what day this was. ‘Course, no one else ever remembers it either… ha ha…

  5. I used to do some tech support. My favorite was the person who didn’t know where the browser was, even after I told them to look for the blue “e”. There are just some people who shouldn’t use a computer.

And I haven’t even mentioned all the setups that were disgustingly dirty. Didn’t they ever hear of a vacuum? And it wasn’t even the engineers who were messy.
