Mmmmmmm, Brains!
“Madison Ave. ad execs are so bent on taking control of America’s children, they’d put computer chips in kids’ brains if they could”
I guess Hillary Clinton, the senator from the great state of New York, was not happy with Senator Ted Stevens stealing the limelight in regards to his internet is a series of tubes gaffe.
Granted marketers do want to find a way to better saturate their targets market, but chips in a brain? Funny thing is that she seems that she honestly believes it. Hillary, if you want marketers to change the way they distribute information, it has to be driven from the audience. If people willingly shut off their televisions when commercials come on, tore all the ads out of newspapers and magazines, and didn’t click on online ads, marketers would be forced to change the way messages are presented. Only in New York!

I feel embarrased for my state now. :/
What, you don’t believe that advertisers would put computer chips in kids’ brains if they could? I certainly do (but I don’t believe that we’re in danger of it happening, since they can’t do it in an politically acceptable manner).
(”Decimate” information? Is that by deleting every tenth letter?)
Umm, they most certainly would do it if they could.
[...] Wow, Maybe Hillary was right! [...]
