Amazing ball point pen sketches
Biro Art Gallery has an amazing collection of drawings which are created with nothing more than simple ball point pens. Amazing work from artists from around the world. If you’ve got a little talent with a ball point pen, why not show off your own work? Credit and props to each respective ball point pen artist. Kind of makes your lecture hall doodles look pathetic huh?

Some of the drawings are very comical and some are downright scary, but Blackman does an excellent job of capturing raw emotion in each one. My favorite is the rendition of the jack o’lantern, which is pretty much how I would feel too, if my head was on fire, but the mentally deranged chicken came in a close second. Don’t spoil the magic ;)

These are the most fascinating art sketches I’ve seen. Such creativity with simple tools..
My “[...] from around the world” statement was made as a shoutout to any other artists who are able to work a little magic with a ball point pen. Notice the question posed after the statement?
Aaaaah, my favorite medium. It’s amazing how versitile a simple Bic crystal is. When I’m not using my Wacom tablet, there’s nothing I’d rather use.
