Apple has quietly updated the version number of BootCamp to version 1.0.2b. However, it does not list any changes, modification, improvements, bug fixes – anything. It is just a simple update.

Does it make Windows run faster/better. Are there more drivers? Nobody knows?

How much to you want to bet 90% of BootCamps installed base will upgrade to 1.0.2b, even though they have NO CLUE what it does?

Does anyone know if this update has new drivers or anything actually useful?
All we want is xp and vista compatible drivers for the non-working hardware (iSight, bluetooth etc.)

  2. Most of them will upgrade because usually with beta software, any release is very important because of security/bug concerns.
