No joke! A 56 year old from Chicago managed to make himself the victim of an unfortunate automobile related incident. Apparently, leaving your vehicle in park while unloading the trunk can quicky turn disastrous.
A Chicago man is lucky to be alive after a bizarre accident. He ran himself over with his own car.
The man is 56 years old and lives in the Albany Park neighborhood.
He apparently left the car running and started to unload the trunk. The car slipped into reverse and hit him.
The brief article creates the impression that the vehicle simply nudged the old man. But judging by the included image, I would say that vehicle did a little more than bump.
Reminds me of a headline I read a while back about a man suing the city he lived in because of an auto accident. Apperantly a city-owned truck crashed into his personal vehicle. The only problem is that he works for the city and was driving the city-owned truck. So essentially, he was suing himself. Needless to say the lawsuit was thrown out.
