Potion Factory Voice Candy licenses up for grabs!
It’s been some time since UNEASYsilence has given back to readers so I thought it would only be fitting that we share a little free software license love for OSX users. For the past week or so I have managed to keep myself, as well as a few others, entertained and organized using a little application known simply as Voice Candy. Well, I’ve enjoyed this application so much that I thought it would be only fitting that others have the opportunity to use their voices as a means to communicate, entertain, and organize on OSX.

A few of my favorite Voice Candy features include the ability to record voice memos (with automated reminders). I keep this little app sitting in my dock - often running in the background - for recording personal reminders for myself and others. Voice Candy will even go so far as to wake your Mac from its peaceful slumber so you don’t forget those voice memos. Create iTunes playlists, export to your iPod, or email clips to others. Voice Candy even offers an entertaining assortment of voice over effects including Vader & the Chipmunks! There is a creative little ‘Sore Throat’ voice effect which I plan on using for that next “sick” day recording ;)
To give back to our readers, I have a two licenses ($12.95 value each) for the readers who record the most entertaing clip(s). There are no limits to the number of submissions. Submissions can be sent in as late 12AM July 28th. Feel free to host on your own server or via Box.net to share the link in the comments. The sky is the limit. Sing to us as Vader, or record a conversation between yourself and another. Head on over to Potion Factory, download the 15 day demo, and give this great application a chance to organize / entertain your life!
If you’re a little too shy to create a recording, I whole heartedly recommend dropping a little pocket change into the Potion Factory bucket for a personal licesnse.
By sending your entries to tips@uneasysilence.com you give permission for us to share the recording with readers if selected.

Well Voice Candy goes beyond the voice effects. It works pretty damn well for a voice memo type application espectially with the configurable keyboard shortcut to start recordings.

LMAO, Chris, sit tight, I think it might be hard to beat your submissions ;) Chipmunks - Message in a bottle was probably the best out of the set.

Hey! I just did a recording of me being a mouse singing an industrial rock song. This might be kind of interesting:
