The most secure instant messenger option available?

That’s what CSpace hopes to bring to the table. A secure option for instant messaging, file transfers, and remote desktop access. The powerful security which drives this service? 2048-bit RSA keys for each user and a decentralized network. Think outside the box and begin to be less dependant on the super giants which control the world of instant messaging and file transfers. Actually, I should rephrase that statement. Enjoy the thought of secure instant messaging and begin to imagine the difficulty of convincing your most connected friends to convert.

Nonetheless, if you’re interested, head on over the CSpace page and download the requirements in order to get this service up and running amongst your inner network of security geeks.

Might I point out that the excellent IM client Adium already has encryption (which does not cover file transfers though) and that it’s compatible with Trillian with the simple install of a plugin!

Heh, my bad *they* actually link to it too! OTR… apparently they don’t like it ;p
