What do you get when you mix a connectors for an IDE 2.5inch Drive, IDE 3.5inch Drive, IDE 5.25inch Drive, SATA 2.5inch Drive, SATA 3.5inch Drive, and a SATA 5.25inch Drive? Only the *bestest* connector any hardcore geek will ever need.

The Karma connect, allows you to connect to your computer over USB 2.0 any of the aforementioned drive types either solo, or simultaneously as long as one drive is SATA, and the other is IDE. It also includes an AC adaptor to properly power the attached drives. Priced at $29.90 it is a no brainier to add this to your toolkit.

Oh all the port goodness!

wow i am ordering this RIGHT NOW

I’ve refrained from ordering external drive enclosures because they’re such a pain to switch drives in-and-out of…but wow.

i’ve got 1.5TB between 3 machines all with full IDE connectors…time to put those other drives I have sitting around to good use

  2. Steven says:

well I would be ordering one if the site actually let you.

“Where to buy in USA” is not a link, the Buy Now button links to nothing, and the Buy Online tab just says Coming Soon.

    /sigh.

According to the site, local stores should be carrying this thing. I’m planning a trip to MicroCenter tomorrow if they have one…

I got mine at newegg.com. works great… though, i have a job tomorrow where i have to see if a new mac laptop is going to detect it and let me transfer files. I’m praying it will.. but.. i’m sure something will not work.
