wienermobile thumbA 70 year old Wienermobile that is! Has anyone else seen this dog in the real world aside from magazine ads or television commercials?

On Independence Day, what could be more American than hot dogs? The holiday adds a special gleam of Americana to the Wienermobile, Madison, Wis.-based Oscar Mayer’s pioneering mobile marketing gimmick, which turns 70 this year.

“It’s one of those things from my childhood,” said Karen Preston, 47, who came out to see the Wienermobile recently in Las Vegas.

    I’ve seen it numerous times. Just randomly driving down the highway. Most often I-5.

    And maybe you should elaborate a little more for the non-photographically inclined. You want to lengthen your exposure (i.e. shutter) time, not just tweak it.

    Yup, seen at least two of them. Once at a market in the 60’s as a small child, and once just a few years ago on the Fwy…
