Cocaine smuggling mule swallows 329 condoms

Talk about pushing the limits for human mule drug smuggling. Authorities apprehended a female mule who had apparently swallowed 329 cocaine filled condoms in order to smuggle the drugs across borders.

A 25-YEAR-OLD Australian woman has been charged with attempting to smuggle heroin into the country a week after she was found to be carrying 329 drug-filled condoms in her stomach.

The woman was intercepted on suspicion she was carrying drugs internally by Customs officers at Sydney airport last Sunday as she came off a flight from Singapore.

A Customs spokeswoman said yesterday the woman was taken to a Sydney hospital for examination. Tests revealed a large number of items in her stomach. She spent the past week in hospital while the condoms, containing about 300g of heroin, passed naturally from her system.

    From your headline, I assumed that the “mule” was an ACTUAL mule. Seems like somewhere around 250, the paramountedly bad-ideaedness thought would have popped into her head!

    umm, no it says she was arrested “again” for attempting to smuggle heroin a week “after” she was arrested for the coke.
