One of my favorite online image editors recently rebranded itself from Pixoh to Snipshot. As a friendly reminder for the unintiated online image editor potential fans, Snipshot offers the following handy features:

  • Edit big images – up to 10 MB, or 5000×5000 pixels
  • Import pictures from any web site (including Flickr) with our bookmarklet
  • Basic editing tools like crop, rotate, resize – many more are in the works
  • Unlimited undo and redo (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y, or Apple+Z and Apple+Y on your Mac)

Check them out if you’ve got some quick edits you need to make without having to wait for Photoshop to load.

For the, ahem, OSX users out there, I highly recommend Image Tricks for quick image edits. The Universal Binary application loads on the dime and utilizes Apple’s Core Image basic image editing and manipulation. Don’t worry, there’s a free version which offers enough functionality for the average user.
