According to the site stats, a ton of our readers come from different countries. However, may of the sites we point to are US specific sites. Whit this little hack, you can view any country restricted websites such as ABC’s streaming TV and the Worldcup in the BBC Sport. [via]

In IE -> Choose Tools -> Choose Internet Options -> Go to Connections (tab) -> Press LAN Settings (button) -> mark the “Use a proxy server for your LAN…â€Â? -> In the IP Address field, enter the IP (use 206.107.155.137 for US services, 62.171.219.179 for UK services) -> In the Port field, enter the port (US – 8080, UK – 80) -> Press OK (button) -> Press OK again (button).

  5. to do this on a mac you need to go to apple => locations => network preferences => click on whatever has a green icon next to it => proxy’s tab

Search Google for “free proxies”, there are tons of websites that have lists with proxies on it, just look for the country you need and it has to be anonymous, so it doesn’t spill your IP!
Free proxies change by the hour, so you always need to look for new IPs, at least that’s from my experience.
