CNet + Ipod = easy shoppin
If you own an Ipod and you need an accessory, you’ll soon find that in most cases you have more than 1 option to meet your needs. With dozens of companies producing dozens of competing products all meeting the same need actually picking the best or right product for you can be a bit over whelming.
Well our buddies at CNet have come up with an “All Things Ipod” section devoted to our little musical companion.
What is certain is that when an MP3 player enjoys a 78 percent market share in the United States, a plethora of products and content spring up just to serve its users. If you’re looking for a one-stop spot to access all this, iPod Central is the place.
more after the jump..
The best part you ask? Well if you have ever been in the market for anything electronic you will know that CNet is a very solid starting point for product research. Now that they have compiled all of the competing Ipod products you can easily go in compare, watch a video review of the product (in most cases), read expert reviews, read actual user reviews, and even find places to buy the product you want.
As if that wasn’t enough they have also compiled a decent selection of tutorials. Everything from getting your music from the Ipod to a computer to converting your favorite episode of “Thats so Raven” and swapping out the now pathetic battery in your hot pink Ipod Mini.
Now you’re thinking, “wow, thats some serious Ipodiness”… theres more. They even collected a pretty healthy list of Ipod software (most of which I didn’t even know existed) where they not only inform you of its uses but once again they review review review.
Seriously.. how could you not love this?!
