This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding. Not too long ago, notebook hard disks maxed out at 100GB. They seemed to have been stuck at the level FOREVER, but Toshiba has thrown all convention out of the window by doubling that size with its MK2035GSS 200GB SATA II (4200rpm) 2.5″ hard disk drive that is a mere 9.5mm thick. With this new perpendicular drive technology now the sky’s the roof with laptop storage capacities.
Can’t wait for the 7200rpm model!
i would not be so optimistic about this. this is like a question about when the hydrogen system takes over the gasoline..
the thing i’m waitin for is a flash memory hard drive! no moving parts in a notebook, well the cd of cource.
looking at the examples like an i-pod (60gb???), so it won’t take a long time to develop.
and could be then we say goodbye to RAM also…
ok, sory
its a hard drive inside ipod…:)
