Avast Ye Matie
This post was published 3 years 9 months 23 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding. Thanks to international laws, ThePirateBay has always avoided many of the copyright problems faced with domestic torrent hosts. They were extremely confident in their abilities to simply and flagrantly skirt the law. In a move that many thought would never come, this morning Swedish police raided, and took servers from TPB.
“…The police right now is taking all of our servers, to check if there is a crime there or not (they are actually not sure)”
If there is ONE thing anyone should learn from this, is a fast as you can take down these torrent/file sharing site… Three more will pop up.
They must have taken the servers with the link to “read more” as well.
no wonder it wasnt working this morning. what a waste of tax payers money. We are talking about paid enforcement coming in to protect THE RICH, they should be out protecting the poor, homeless and others. All the payroll that is wasted to this operation could be used where its needed, not to protect hollywood and its trillions of dollars they already have.
oh boohoo, MS’s vista is being torrented. they dont have 35 billion in reserve cash. Oh boohoo, 12 people stole a peice of 2000 dollar software, PEOPLE who WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT IF THEY COULDNT STEAL IT. So thats no money lost anyways.
you sound like a communist, but im agree with you, there more crimes, real crimes like murder or corruption to investigate instead of some guys with servers and a internet connection, who make community service to all the world, long live Piratebay.org…
