See what happens when the meter maid is bored?

I’ve also wondered what I might do had I been a meter maid with no motivation to look for actual illegally parked vehicles.

A traffic-enforcement agent was busted yesterday for plastering bogus tickets on cars that had been parked legally, police said.

Officials would not give a motive, but a source said cops were looking into the possibility that she did it because it was easier than going out to look for illegally parked cars where she was assigned.

“[...] because it was easier than going out to look for illegaly parked cars” sounds like the exact excuse I would use.

This is exactly the kind of sh*t that get me pissed off. Tickets aren’t exactly cheap in NYC.

Or anywhere for that matter – $50/violation in Dallas, per the last ticket I received.
