The sods have made it so you have to pay to download it now. Seeing as they claim this is to support their download servers, I’dve thought it fine to mirror it. So, anyone know of a free mirror? :-D

The download is absolutely swamped anyway. You will never get good speeds with it tonight.

That’s right. Microsoft is one of the only big app makers that treats Mac customer completely differently than other users. They use Mac software revenues to offset X-Box losses. Did you know that?

Of course I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t acknowledge that Apple does the same thing, but that COMPLETELY different because, because, well it’s simple really, they think different you know?

The funny thing is that Apple distributes some technology across platforms in order to be a standards leader, like with Quicktime. Other software like iTunes is there to act as a trojan horse. I think it would be great if Apple made a Windows version of Safari. I wonder how much market share it would have. Probably very little huh? Well I think it’s just dandy on the Mac.

Why won’t MS support WMP on Mac or Linux? Why won’t apple support Quicktime on Linux? Too many distributions? Have to make the player source code available to compile?
