Introducing MacSaber 1.0 Beta. Using your Mac’s sudden motion sensor, this software turns your computer into a Jedi weapon almost worthy of taking on the real thing by making authentic lightsaber sound effects. It senses speed for the lightsaber movement sounds and acceleration for different levels of striking sounds.
I’m not sure what is more troubling, that people are willing to swing around a $1,000+ laptop, or someone would actually be caught in public with this? (Scratch the last one, StarWars fans never go outside :P j/k )
Yeah, I wonder how many people will slam their MacBook into a wall or cubicle and drop it, putting the motion sensor into the action it was designed for in the first place.
How ironic it would be to destory your lappy when demonstrating a primary safty feature.
That said, I downloaded it and intend to show it off to some Starwars geeks in my office. This is with a MPB mind you and there’s lots of cubicle walls around.
