Life in jail for the perps arrest

What would you do in the following situation? Imagine yourself having acquired a camera memory card in a less than honorable style. Hidden on that very memory card are incriminating images of the owner and a very under age female doing the unacceptable. Do you risk a life sentance – because of your prior record – in order to pin the perp for charges? Or do you go your merry way?

Matthew Ryan Hahn glared in disbelief at the digital photographs of a man molesting a girl. She was only a year old, maybe 2.

The next thing to do would be obvious — call police. But Hahn had been convicted of burglary more than once. And the memory card on which he discovered the photos came from a stolen safe.

What would you do if you found yourself in a similar situation?

That’s actually not what happened at all. Sounds great if you are reading it or writing it, unfortunately that’s not how things went down.

The real story is this. This piece of shit burglar had been plaguing society for years. Guy gets caught, comes out and does it again on multiple occasions. Now, one of the places he stole from was this guy’s safe with the memory card. He got away with that. He hit 12 other people in the same time period as well.

So this piece of crap is going through his loot that he stole from people and finds the memory card with the pics. He does the right thing and sends it to authority’s anonymously.

Fast forward a month. Eventually this moron gets caught for some other burglary he botched up and is about to go to jail(for the third time). While being questioned by detectives with incriminating evidence he says “I gave you that child molester guy!”. Until that point they didn’t know who sent the anonymous package. Basically has no baring on what he did or didn’t do with the memory card.

Last thing… since when was doing the right thing supposed to be special or rewarded? If he didn’t alert authorities he should have been put to death in my opinion. He did the right thing, wow. Let’s all celebrate.
