task tips

Windows XP users can now implement a Vista feature into their current work flow using the handy Visual Task Tips shell enhancement. The enhancement allows users to hover their mouse over taskbar items to preview a small screenshot of the associated window. Very helpful for individuals who attempt to keep themselves organized with multiple items taking hogging the taskbar area.

Check the screenshot above that I snapped while taking the utility for a spin. It isn’t very often that I find myself installing shell enhancements which actually manage to find a permanent home in the system.

Nifty program. However, too bad it doesn’t support per-pixel alpha.

I’m running Code Opus. You can find it on Deviant Art.
