Gmail adds contact pictures to users

Posted in Cool, Tech by Derek at 11:14 pm

Right on the heels of Google Talk’s buddy icon features, Gmail now supports contact images:

gmail user pictures

With contact pictures in Gmail, you can pick ones for yourself, see which ones your friends have chosen, and set certain pictures to show up for specific people in your Gmail account. Best of all, you can even send picture suggestions to your friends.

Now Gmail users can see who they’re corresponding with. Is Gmail slowly adding the bloat?

I’m not either. I poked around gmail for like 35 minutes last night trying to find where it is at.
