iTunes fans are Red Hot Angry
Through the iTunes music store, Red Hot Chili Pepper’s fan had an opportunity to get a special promotional code for advance tickets if they preordered the Chili Peppers latest album “Stadium Arcadium”. However many users are reporting that they never got the email and feel ripped off since floor seats are now being sold to the general public.
In the iTunes Music Store, Apple said those who pre-ordered the album “Stadium Arcadium” were to receive special videos along with a presale code which would allow them to buy concert tickets a full four days ahead of the general public.
However, it became clear on Apple’s support forums that the e-mails were not arriving by Monday evening. By the end of the day many had not received the code, or received a blank e-mail from iTunes with no message body.
Seems like Apple may be facing another lawsuit. Pitty, they should at least have a day to celebrate their legal victory over Apple Corp.

I pre-ordered the album and received the confirmation email with the Ticketmaster code in it but i cancelled the download and kept my $19 when i found out i can get it at Best Buy for $11.99 this week. Not a bad price for a 2-disc album.
Ouch, Apple will be sued badly for that.
I already feel sorry for it…
As far as I can tell, the email Apple sends out is HTML. So if a person cannot view HTML emails, or has that option turned off, then that would explain the blank message body. Still doesn’t explain the unreceived emails though…
