Apple sues Something Aweful forums
Personally, I think Apple is making a mistake suing the Something Aweful forums. The thread that Apple Legal is targeting a discussion on the MacBook Pro which one of the registered members sought recommendations for (heating issue).
No actual “illegal” activity is purported on the page, and all information is “linked”. When is Apple Legal going to settle down?

Isn’t it a “cease and desist” letter at this point? If they do not act to protect copyrights then they will no longer have a copyright. This is part of copyright law.
Isn’t the questionable text linked back to Apple? It’s no different if we were to share news about Apple with the appropriate linkage.
Those manuals are supposed to be off limits to anyone except someone with a TECH ID. Not even your average Salesperson can see it unless they’re a qualified technician. =\
Somewhere in the Technicians agreement, there willl be something about not disclosing this information elsewhere.
