It’s time to get your watch on. ABC is now offering free streaming content from hit sitcoms Desperate Housewives, Alias, and Lost. No more downloading missed episodes over bittorrent. Fire up that web browser and tune into some streaming content. Ad-supported episodes will force viewers to watch online ads, but how hard is it to get up and grab a bite to eat while the commercials play.

Great move by ABC. Now if you’ll excuse me, Lost is starting.. ergh I mean lecture is starting and I need to start taking notes in class.

    1. This is done reeeeally well… ABC gets it’s ad-money (and maybe some tv watchers), and the people get free tv shows, with seriously very little advertisement, for free!! Good realisation also, had no problems streaming and stuff…
    2. Since this service is only provided to customers in the US, you can use a proxy, which doesn’t pass on your IP. For me from Germany the http proxy 192.104.67.250:8080 – I use Firefox, worked on mac and windows for me!

How do you change your proxy so you can view this side outside the us?

  3. Jay says:

I’ll stick with bittorrents until they’re offered to folks outside the U.S., thankyouverymuch. Besides, I get to watch ‘em on mt xbox that way!
