Sometimes those large music directories can be a pain to ergh browse through without a download manager. Clicking on individual links is oftentimes tedious and unnecessary. There are a number of Windows download managers available to users claiming to be the simplest methods for doing batch downloads in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, actual results fall short of expectations.

If you’re interested in a Windows download manager that just works, add WackGet to your utilities folder. One of the more useful features includes the ability to select portions of a webpage and then instructing WackGet to sniff out any downloadable items to save to your ‘Download’ folder. How convenient right? It doesn’t get much easier than that.

Down Them All! (or Down The mAll! if you prefer) is an extension for firefox which does will download & save all files on a page. You can specify the search criteria as well… all this w/o having to run yet another program.
