Google Hosted Email

Over on my personal site I’ve collected my thoughts and reviewed the latest Google Hosted Email service tailored for domain owners. Check it out if your interested to see what options administrators have as far as user control and customization. Aside from a few custom options, Google Hosted accounts are no different than standard Gmail accounts. The only real difference being the additional pair of eyes [of the domain owner] watching accounts.
If Google comes knocking, will you accept Hosted Email for your own domain?

Simple – NO!
Anti-Google-ite you! ;)
They are on a conquest to kill all the kittens in America – MARK MY WORDS!!!!
we have google hosted for our domain, http://www.deadlycomputer.com
and, i like it, i have admin access, and yes, there are very few options, but, it is much better then our current email system (which just had it fowarded to our current gmail accounts), and its good for us because we 1. dont know how to set up email on our server, and 2. dont have a server that could handle that of email.
i know you dont like google dan, and i understand it, its ok.
and, if it werent for the cuteness of kittens, i wouldnt care.
Screw that! Kittens over populate the world as it is. Google is just doing us a service. On top of that they’re indexing my underwear drawer [which really helps in the morning].
oh man, how do i sign up for that beta derek?!?!
i got a few junk drawers they could index, and the underwear thing sounds like its a really good deal!
and i do happen to agree, there are probably way more kittens then there are humans.
Yeah, I just got invited to Google Hosted E-mail earlier this week and I definitely like it.
One thing to consider. I got an invite and set it up for my company…then decided to use a regular gmail box for each person, along with the feature to send email as another account. Here’s why. None of the gmail checker apps for the toolbar/menubar/etc. work with gmail for domains. There is no way to be alerted to new email.
